Regina Hübner a Donne&Fotografia – FVG Friuli Venezia Giulia Fotografia 2017

Regina Hübner partecipa con Zeit alla mostra Donne & Fotografia  per il 31° Festival Friuli Venezia Giulia Fotografia 2017. Accanto alle storiche fotografe austriache Madame D’Ora, Trude Fleishmann, Lisette Model e Inge Morath, Regina Huebner figura come artista contemporanea dell’Austria.

Donne & Fotografia espone opere di 150 fotografe del XX° Secolo di fama mondiale come Berenice Abbott, Wanda Wulz, Francesca Woodman, Dorothee Golz, Letizia Battaglia, Nan Goldin, Annie Leibovitz, Lisette Model e Tina Modotti, Sarah Moon e Carla Cerati, Dorothea Lange e Florence Henri, Lee Miller, Margaret Bourke White, Imogen Cunningham, Lola Alvarez Bravo, Mary Ellen Mark, Alice Springs, Martine Franck, Maria Mulas, Cindy Sherman, Diane Arbus, Eve Arnold, Gisèle Freund, Flor Garduno, Susan Meiselas, Shirin Neshat, Leonor Fini, Orlan, Dorothea Lange e molte altre artiste che hanno influenzato profondamente la storia della fotografia.

Il catalogo, con le opere e le biografie delle artiste, porta la prefazione di Naomi Rosenblum, la più importante storica della fotografia.  Inoltre, in mostra sarà proiettata una videointervista a Naomi Rosemblum curata della figlia Nina, regista già candidata all’Academy Award for Documentary Feature nel 1993.

Donne & Fotografia è curato da un comitato scientifico con Silvia Bianco dei Musei di Udine, Ken Damy del Museo Ken Damy Brescia e Walter Liva, coordinatore del CRAF Spilimbergo ed è sostenuto dalla Città di Udine, dal Museo Ken Damy Brescia, Fratelli Alinari Firenze e dalla Scuola di Fotografia nella Natura Roma.

Regina Huebner ha ricevuto per la sua partecipazine a Donne&Fotografia il sostegno del Forum Austriaco di Cultura di Milano.

L’opera Zeit di Regina Hübner è un videostill dell’omonimo video-work, esposto in forma di ambientazione nel 2016 al MMKK Museum Moderner Kunst Kärnten in time and person – mostra personale curata da Christine Wetzlinger-Grundnig con testo in catalogo di Arnulf Rohsmann. Inoltre, Zeit (time) è stato esposto nel 2015 all’EXPO Milano, Cinecittà Studios per La Notte Bianca Roma, a Change + Partner Contemporary Art e all’Istituto Polacco, Palazzo Blumenstihl, a Roma.

Regina Hübner (Huebner) – Biography, Exhibitions

Regina Hübner was born in Villach, Austria. She lives in Villach and Rome, Italy. She gets her inspirations by questions about life and relationships between the individuum and universal concepts. Using different means to express her ideas, from experimental photography, video, sound, performance and installations, to texts, subjects and objects, the artist creates artworks connected to ongoing themes and realizes unique ambientations. Hübner works also by involving other persons in her projects – the Protagonists, or in collaboration with artists from the fields of visual art, literature and music.
